Cyclone Alfredge Approaching Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales

Tropical cyclone Alfredge is due to make landfall north of Brisbane, with heavy rain, flooding, and strong winds expected. The warning zone stretches from Double Island Point in Queensland south to Balena in New South Wales. Wind gusts of 130 km/h have been detected at the centre of Alfred, which is about 195 km east of Brisbane.
