EUO Patrick Delaney has begun meeting with Jewish leaders to apologise unreservedly after an image of him performing a Nazi salute came to light. Despite explaining the gesture was done in a context relating to some Western Sydney Wanderers fans ten years ago, Delaney admits that demonstrating the salute was offensive and wrong. The president of the New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies, David Osip, accepted Delaney’s sincere apology.
