Residents Brace for Cyclone Alfred in Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales

Residents in Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales are bracing for a once in a lifetime weather event as cyclone Alfred approaches. Already wind gusts of over 110 kilometres per hour have been reported with heavy rain. Tens of thousands of residents have been told to evacuate low-lying coastal areas.
